Privacy Notice

Effective October 24, 2026 · Applies to Wavulate v1.0.0

This notice describes the desktop release as configured for this version. Wavulate does not require an account and the application contains no usage analytics or cloud-rendering feature.

Media and content

Audio, background images or video, reference lyrics, and render settings are sent from the interface to a local service on your computer for processing. The selected media is staged in local temporary storage; renders, logs, and temporary work files are stored locally. Do not assume temporary files are erased immediately after a job.

Transcription model download

On first use, Wavulate downloads the Faster-Whisper Medium model from Hugging Face to local model storage. This request necessarily reveals ordinary connection information (such as your IP address and request metadata) to the model-hosting service. The built-in flow downloads model files, then analyzes your selected audio locally; it does not upload the audio to Hugging Face. Hugging Face’s own terms and privacy practices apply to its hosting service.

Local data retained

These items are available to people and software with access to your Windows account and device. Use your operating system’s controls to remove them; deleting the app may not automatically remove all user data or completed renders.

Children, sharing, and contact

Wavulate is a creator utility, not an account-based service. You decide whether to share your media and finished videos with other services. For privacy questions, contact hello@grimmwareos.com.

This is a general informational notice for a worldwide audience, not a representation that the release complies with every jurisdiction’s privacy law. Release behavior and hosting-provider practices should be reviewed periodically.
